Light: Before blooming, place paperwhites in direct light, then move them to a spot with indirect light. An ideal location is a cool windowsill or a tabletop near a sunny window.
Watering: Water paperwhites when the top inch of soil is dry, but not more than once a week until the bulbs start growing. The soil should be moist but not wet.
Fertilizing: Fertilize with a regular indoor fertilizer about every two weeks.Rotating: Rotate the pot every few days to encourage straight stalks.
Staking: If the flowers are heavy or the stalks are tall, you can stake the paperwhites with twine or bamboo stakes.
